Hi! My name is Giorgia, owner and cake creator for Sweet Flair in Sydney. I was born in Rome, Italy and raised in Europe, surrounded by amazing home cooks. Thanks to them I developed a love for cooking, baking and good taste. Over the years friends and family have strongly encouraged me to leave my corporate job to pursue and share my baking enthusiasm and skills.
Today I am proud to call Sydney, Australia my home. It is here that I met my Lebanese husband and now have started a family. When we travel back to our home countries, I am always inspired and curious by the creative techniques, flavour combinations and designs, not to mention the authentic smell and taste of the food there! I am loyal to French and Italian pastry and try to bring these to you.
At Sweet Flair we believe in quality and excellence and use only high quality ingredients such as Lurpak butter and fresh free range eggs. No Nasties or prepackaged ingredients! We cater to all occasions: birthday cakes, anniversary cakes, wedding cakes, christening and baby shower cakes and any other celebration cakes.
As a multitasking mother of two, I can honestly say, there is nothing more gratifying than seeing the look of wonder and delight on the faces of children (and adults!) when they see my cakes and that wide smile as they take their first delicious bite!
